"Boling's voice is comfortable and warm, embracing each song in perfect Texas folk fashion. The 2000 release is "WELCOME HOME" (Perfectly Stable Music) and how fitting it is that Kerrville's buzz phrase is the same. C. Daniel Boling is an accomplished guitarist, making each song a delicate balance of meaningful lyrics and stylish music. Boling can hold his own with Dana Cooper in the way he moves through chord progressions with purpose and punctuality. In the same breath, his folk tunes could as easily be orchestrated to rock anthems due to the quality of the foundation of each song. This is a great folk album, and Boling does it without re-tuning his guitar to some different unimaginable open chord for each song. Thanks Daniel. Hey Texas music fans, listen and buy - repeat after me - listen and buy." Lucky & Jinelle Boyd, MyTexasMusic.com

And about the brand new release:
“Now C. Daniel Boling has released “THE OLD INTERNATIONAL” and it’s a thirteen-cut folk music masterpiece which includes wonderful orchestration, beautiful vocal arrangements, and meaningful lyrics. Boling also follows my golden folk music rule by keeping his songs at a modest length; average song length on this disc is about 3:40. If you liked Boling’s “WELCOME HOME,” you’ll love the new disc. It’s more Boling, it’s more beautiful, it’s more ‘better.’ By the way, the packaging of the new CD is some of the best I've seen. It reminds me of the days when it was something special to buy a record album, listen to the music, and spend hours reading the album cover. You can do that with this disc. Yippee!” -MyTexasMusic.com

“Daniel’s guitar playing is excellent, his vocals are awesome and the subject matter for his songs is diverse yet there is a common thread of family ties, humor and just down right good story telling. I honestly think it is one of the best Folk recordings I have heard.” -Jesse Thurgood (Singer/Songwriter, Provo, UT - Kerrville Folk Festival NewFolk Songwriter Finalist 2001)
